Still Life

I’ve been trying to do more still life shots recently (basically becuase I haven’t been getting out nearly as much as I’d like) and I’ve been happy with a few of the results but this one is annoying me. It just seems to be lacking something and I’d appreciate help from people who have experience with this sort of thing.

Sorry for the awkward shape of the image, possible a large contributing factor to why it annoys me so much.Hi brian, I like this, one small suggestion if you brought the glass into the vertical it might make you like it better. You should do anyway it’s a good picture. I like this kind of shot, uncluttered. Mike
