No 3 is my pick here Bronagh the DOF is spot on separating the tree from the reeds nicely
No 1 is just a little bit busy for me and I keep trying to figure out what the thing is out in the water
No 2 might look better in mono
Just my opinion others my think differently

I think maybe number 1 with the sky and right hand side cropped out, then converted to B&W?

Thanks for c&c, I’m dipping my toes in here and look forward to all advice and comments.
the thing in the water is a scaunch, (phonetically) I know thats probably not how its spelt but I’ve never seen the word written down…I think its used for shooting season,
they’re a common sight around the shoreline here.
Maybe, I’ll get a chance to go out to it sometime for a more bird friendly shoot. :)

No 1 is good Bronagh. I would try some saturation….. John……. You seem to have some dust on your sensor.

I think it’s spelt”sconce”. They are hides for shooting ducks over decoys. Lots of them all round Lough Neagh. Duck shooting permits are scarce, anybody who has one hangs on to it. They used to be issued by Shaftesbury Estates, maybe still are, then you need the farmers permission to cross his land as well. People talk about renting a shore. You occasionally see them advertised in the papers.
