and even still I had to paddle on in and move a few tyres out of the frame :)
Wow, moving things- Advanced photography :D

How come I’ve never thought of that before??? Brilliant. You’ll have to post a tutorial…
Love the shot LoGirl. Great perspective and tons of depth. You don’t get out enough
with that camera of yours. Simply beautiful image…Rob.
Brian_CParticipantwow, beautiful. this is really really really really nice. What makes it for me is the detail in the boat itself and that splash of light in the clouds. SteveD’s idea with the wooden poles make sense.
LoGillParticipantMick – Thanks so much :D
Rob –  Tutorial for moving tyres.. just for you :D
– set up tripod and camera
– look through viewfinder
– Notice two tyres, a barrel and a crisp packet in the water beside the boat
– Swear
– Roll up bottom of jeans and sleeves of jacket
– plod into the water, hoping that walking boots are water proof
– Swear when water laps over the ankle of walking boots
– move tyres and barrels out of the frame and put soggy crisp packet in pocket
– plod back to camera
– press shutter
– look at viewfinder
– GRIN :DBrian.. Thanks so much for the comment.. and I agree Steve’s suggestion make sense .. but somehow to me it looks wierd without the poles :)
Thanks again for all the feedback

beefParticipantHow did I miss this one!? Really like this Lorraine, lovely shot.
Cheers,
beefcarlParticipantVery nice Lorraine. The reflection of the light in the water adds an extra dimension to the shot.
FlipflipParticipantGood shot!
I’d be interested to see it in a moody contrasty black and white too.
No critique here tho!
richiehatchMemberGreat shot Lorraine…. again nothing to add to the above comments… Really nice mood to it…! Spot on…!
