Hi Liam for me both shots lack a bit of punch perhaps push the contrast a little. In the second shot whereas the tree makes a focal point it is almost too dominant in the shot if perhaps you took a few steps back and composed the shot using the tree as a focal point without it overpowering the image. the burren is magical this time of year that real harsh contrasty light realy suits it…
