    Where’s the males? :D How do you rate the 80-400…I was thinkin of gettin one?

    Like this a lot. Dof has really isolated your subject superbly.
    I reckon this image could tolerate a portrait crop though; a little
    too much negative space imho.

    Rob I think a crop might a good idea.
    Noely as regards the 80-400mm. It’s a very good useful lens for the price. It’s a Sigma version of the Canon 100-400mm. I got mine second hand over a year ago. It’s heavy and the AF is bit noisy and you do need a good bit of light to get the best out it but in general it has been a good lens.
