i just keep getting caught in little showers and wanted something i could use when out
ThorstenMemberIf all you want is something to protect your camera during a shower, then a shower cap (yes, quite literally a shower cap!) does the job nicely. I have one tucked away at the bottom of my bag for just such a reason; takes up virtually no space and has a nice elasticated edge which keeps it snug against the camera. Must take a shot of it in use during the week and post it here.

yes I have a shower cap in my camera bag, after you recommended that before. but it wont fit over my 400L on the 30D.
what prompted me to look at things was I was out on a boat trip the other day viewing the seals, and the spray from the boat kept splashing, i ended up using my waterproof coat to cover my camera and I got wet!
so i was looking for something I could wrap or cover the camera with in these sorts of situations. so i would just leave it on for the duration of the session
ThorstenMemberstcstcMemberI suppose i could always look for a shower cap made for someone with a really really big head, he he
joe_elwayParticipantI keep a plastic bag in the camera bag. Simply tear a corner out of it, put the camera in the bag and stick the lens out through the new hole. I can then hold the top of the bag around the body.
irish147ParticipantI have a dunness bag ready for the rain, and a weeee umbrella for a shower….lol
steelydanParticipantWe have plastic sleeves in work, they are used for machinists when machining with heavy ,thick coolant.they go from your wrist to your shoulder with elastic at either ends. They might work if you PM me your address i think I might have some here and can send them down .try them out.
