Storming the GPO….

Was in town today taking some shite pictures :roll: and seen this fellow perched up on top the GPO. Thought it looked a bit odd….. anyways C&C as always, appreciated.
Oh and if anyone knows why he’s up there I’d love to hear it.

yeah defo a soldiew. Looked like he had a bit of radio equipment up there also. Looked pretty unusual to see him peeking out and moving around up there. Didn’t really have time to stick around see what he was doing.
Is there an Easter Parade this weekend, maybe even a Republican type thing? Could be security related?
Remindes me of this one .. on top of thr White House in 2006.. holiday of a lifetime.. still payin for it :wink:

haha, I was thinking of the white house while I was taking the picture Pat. Did you get a nice little talking to by some NSA guys for taking snaps of the White House?
Jasus no, that was taken waaay back on Pennsilvania Ave and I’m surprised it came out so well as it was taken with a Kodak fixed lens compact. Really a toy to what s going around here. But turned out some good stuff.

Camo pattern looks irish army, but hard to see at this size…
The radio equipment to his left looks military standard too, and the headset definitely is.

Looks like he’s just testing radio comms, as I see no other gear/weapon – as nfl says, it’s probably advance setup for Easter…
