Congratulations Charlie. You managed to hold on to the detail in the whites without blowing them, or the sky.

3 nice images of stormy weather but I single out the first for it’s pure ferocity. The rock I’m assuming is the same as the second image just over washed by the wave. Spectacular movement, soft where the movement is and detailed where you’d expect it.

Simple but effective and well captured.

Brilliant shots. The really do capture what the sea can be like on a stormy day. Number two for me. It just looks like a tiny island being swallowed up by theimmense swells. Brilliant shots, fair play.

The last one is like a fairy tale. It seems like the whole island and the lighthouse would be washed away. Beautiful capture!

Spectacular shots, have to say I am mighty impressed with exposure and composition in all three, but the last one is my favourite. Detail in all is superb.

Three very nice shot, I would agree with the comments above regarding exposure and composition. If I had to pick, it would be number three.

    Thank’s for all your comments.

Alan. Same rock in both photos. Every crashing wave presented a different photo opportunity.

    Phil. Very wet and cold.
