Took this while peering from behind my closed curtain on the bus…
criticism please :twisted:
wow, you’re not as new as you make out-
the big test of this one, for me, would be how it would look as a print-
not something that gets remarked on a lot around here,
hardly ever on a second post-Its a transgression of a picture;
it has beauty,
but subverts it-Nobody would buy this postcard-

only one criticism on this one-
a picture doesn’t need such a strong signature-
maybe it could be positioned and toned so it doesn’t take away from the composition?

I have been interested in photography since I was younger (maybe 15 or so, I’m 22 now) but only got my half decent camera (I’m still only using a Panasonic TZ1 you know) about a year and a half ago and really started playing with shots then. I really need a nice digital SLR.
I’ve been told I have a good eye for photos but I am lacking alot of knowledge of using SLR’s… What settings to use to achieve the effect I’m looking for etc…
I never even thought about a print, was just getting some shots in to ease a boring bus ride :lol:

Couldn’t agree more. That’s one hell of an image for a second post.
Think more about printing. There is no comparison whatsoever between
an image viewed on any monitor, no matter how brilliant or expensive it
is, and an actual physical print.

I will definitely think about printing. I’d love to get a good printer for home printing. I shall be looking in that.
