Streamlining me Username?

I’m thinking of streamling me username from nfl-fan to just nfl.
The night I signed up for PI I was short on ideas for a username and also suspected my stay at PI would be a short lived affair so didn’t think too long or too hard about the whole thing.
And here we are nearing two years later… and I think I’ve matured in many ways… so maybe it’s time for a change.
That being said… part of me is telling me that ‘nfl-fan’ is part of history and to change it now just might not be the right thing to do.
Anyone care to file any objections?

I was thinking of changing to plain Bloke, but that would confuse all the
people who are trying to work out what PTB means. Likewise, references
to “Fan Boy” would be difficult for newcomers to understand. I think you should
leave it as it is.Rossco will always be Brandyman to me.
I’d say go for it. Lousy Photo changed his to Lousy but we still knew what he meant.
I’ve decided to keep it… the people that mean the most to me around here (Zoltan and Gizzo) all call me nfl, John or something really bad anyways.

I think, you should get a new name like JB8, showing that you are just a little bit better than the best. Or you could be Top 10 Man, everybody would know who that is.
Well.. a little dicky bird tells me that a certain Hungarian member here suspected that I was sevenj?
JB8 wouldn’t be bad either though… considering we have the likes of CathalD and CathalT, Shutterbug and Shutter Bug, Steve and SteveD etc..
In hindsight, given some of the stuff I’ve posted in me day, it might have been useful to have a 2nd username alright… but that lark is only for cowards… the lowest of the low.
I’m surprised there havn’t been any alternatives suggested for handle for John…

is a change is necessary? Already I have trouble keeping up with your avatars-I’m sure Mark would let you change back though, if you felt you must try…
For you, nothing less than JB1-6 would suffice…
