One of my favourite spots for photography, as well as the beautiful scenery, it can be nice and quiet & peaceful. Although watch out for the midges, they can be very hungry… :D
Hopefully this will still qualify as a landscape, even though there’s no sky or horizon! :lol:Tone-mapped in Photomatix, 3 exposures at -2, 0, +2. Quite a tricky spot to get the exposure right.
Thanks for looking :o)
Tech Details:
1.3secs f16 (-2 & +2)
Circ polarisorRobMemberYeah yeah yeah, same old same old…
Fantastic colours and texture yet again, sickenly good
framing and exposure. Love it 8)Rob.
andy mcinroyParticipantVery poor ……
Almost had you there !!
Scrumptious.
I have nothing for triangulation there Steven, care to tell us where it is?Andy
mgstParticipantGrahamBParticipantThis is getting slightly annoying.
Perfect as always.I think we need a new classification thought instead of “landscape” we should have “stevescape”
S-ManMemberStevenHannaMemberThanks folks! :D
Andy – this is in Donard Forest, in Newcastle Co Down and is part of the route up into the Mourne mountains.
Beautiful spot.Steven
richiehatchMemberWhats the point in commenting on your work any more… your just showing off…!

MartinParticipantVery nice picture, i like it allot.
Only thing i can suggest to improve maybe if the big rock at the top right was not cropped by the frame the picture would balance slightly better but I am only nit picking here trying to give you some suggestions if thats possible. Only other thing and this might just be a personal thing but would be interesting to see a version with the shutter speed increased as the water is to unnatural looking but as i said this is a personal thing
Over all though a great shot well done
Martin
randomwayMemberOatesyParticipantYour picture SUCKS . your exposure is crap.Colours are boring and your framing is just terrible.
You will never amount to anything with photography.
