-
adamwalshParticipant
These are a few of my street photography images i took in pisa in feb.
Have a look and let me know, where there is room for improvement or which stands out or what i could have done differently to make it a better shot.
“The Italian Job”
“Highlookers”
“Waiting”
“That Private Mesaage”
“A Bad Day”
“A Letter To God”
Cheers

davedunneParticipantFor a few of these, one area for improvement (and I have the same problem myself) is that a lot of people find street photos are more interesting when they are not taken from behind. In other words, the photos may be better if they don’t show the backs of peoples heads. Having said that, “highlookers” could work as a “from behind” shot but I think it would have been better in landscape rather than the vertical framing.
RobertoMemberHi Adam,
the photos are little bit small to see all the details….
I just give you my thoughts:
– The Italian Job – the photo looks OK but why that title…? I would say that it can be more The Irish Job…. :-)))
– Highlookers – doesn’t give me something special (sorry!)…. it looks like that only the third man is looking up… other two not…. it would be good to see what the high look is about….
– Waiting – I would do the composition differently… crop the stone on the left and add little bit more space on the top….other three are very dark and small photos … would be interesting to see their face expression…
adamwalshParticipantThanks a million for the advice,
ok ive uploaded the pictures in a larger format so there alot clearer now, Ive edited and changed what yous have suggested.
The reason why I called it “highlookers” was that they were looking to the top of the leaning tower.
I cant put anymore space at the top of the picture “waiting” because ive cropped it down to this size because there where vans in the backround. I removed the stone as you suggested also.
I picked the name “The Italian Job” was because I watched that man in PISA struggle to hold his shopping in his right hand and an umbrella and a bunch of flowers in his left hand while trying to cycle through loads of people. Talk about a job
