First of the stubble fields… probably winter barley.
Anyway I’d appreciate your thoughts.

Very nice indeed. I like the bale in the foreground, the leading lines and the blue of the sky.

Gosh………..reminds me of summer (wistfull sigh) I bet the farmer is
glad he got that done with all the rain we had last night! Very pretty
scene.Nice composition and colour Pat, good strong lines.
I do find the sky just a little disappointing though, the
clutter of clouds being just a bit too hard-edged and distracting
(some of them have corners!); you might be able to soften
that aspect just a little to keep the focus on the foreground
and middleground…Rob.

Great composition and – thought the sky worked well against the colour of the field myself…Always great to see a blue sky.
