Studio Management Software

JWPParticipant
Hi Ben & Gerry,
I also downloaded the free 30 day trial but have not had a chance to really go through it yet, but it seems really good. is there a good database on it, Do you think this combined with the Photo Manager software would cover all angles? selling, database, accounts and more? or is this overkill?
JuneThorstenMemberGCPParticipantJune,
from an accounts, customer tracking and running the studio point of view I am using The Photographic Manager for 18 years now and it is all I need to keep the place going and keep it efficent but I do need a modern selling technique and something that will give the customer ease of viewing and ease of buying and this could be the item. If you remember the talk given by Kevin Wilson that we were at in Monaghan in October …….. he uses this as a selling tool and seems very happy with it.AnonymousParticipantGer we should feck this photography lark and set up an Ice Cream venture(pity those hippies from the states got there before us  ) Anyways June i’m almost sure the time-exposure company has set up a joint venture with another third party studio mangement division which ticks all the boxes from invoicing to markrting plans etc. I’m sure if youre going to focus this year there will be a rep there whom are the new Uk agents for time-exposure.
BenJWPParticipantThanks Ben, glad you picked up on the “Ben & Gerry” … fab ice-cream too! Not sure yet if I will make it to Focus though. June.

this chap works for nikon and is very good, he has wrote the program
by a photographer for photographersFrankCParticipantThe actual product website is here :
It looks good, but I’ve not sure if it’s worth GB£400
Hsve you used it yourself ?
euglanParticipanthi
i haven’t used it myself but was at a seminar by Uzair Kharawala at the red cow hotel and he did a half hour promotion on this item, obviouisly to promote it, it basically does everything for you, £400 is not a lot if you are doing good business!! one of the items mentioned earlier was $1300.
you can get a free download to try on that site as well
regardseuglanParticipantFrankCParticipantJust saw – they’ll be at the Dublin Photovision show in September – will have another look then.
