8) Just experimenting after a session at home last night. Took a pile of shots without flash under normal household lighting and the glow from my monitor just to see how they’d turn out. Appreciate any C&C. The best of this set can be viewed http://www.pbase.com/winkauss/musicroom
I like the first one, although I get the feeling it could stand to be sharper…
The second doesnt really do much for me, the red reflection kinda kills it. In fact I’d say it’d be better shot in alot more light.
Thanks for your comments Rymus. I was attempting to capture the exact light that was in the room, so despite the red reflection on the trumpet (it’s a red room) I was actually quite happy with the effect and didn’t really want it any lighter. I do agree though that the first image probably could do with being a bit sharper – I’ll have to get a remote control for the camera so I don’t have to touch it at all when I’m using a tripod :D
