Hi Sean,
I think your portrait is just stunning. The pose of the model is so elegant and simple. Her facial expression is wonderful. I love the soft light that is illuminating her face.
I also love the backdrop. If i’d taken this picture i’d have been thrilled. Can’t wait to see more of your work.Lucy

No digital work done on the background. Only sharpening, crop and border added. Thanks for your comments. Much appreciated.

Can I ask about the lighting setup,
The light looks its from above,(snoot?)Hi Paul, thanks for the positive comments. The light was a soft box placed above and to the models right. Credit must go to Ciaran Whyte (not sure what his user name is on this forum) as he suggested the pose and lighting.
Great shot, I like it. Nice simple lighting, cloths and style. I like the small subtle frame that you put around it :)
If it was me, I would add just one more element. I would add one more light on the right had side behind the model to just add a small bit of a rim light and to add a little shine onto the hair. Buts thats just me, I ham gone a little strobist mad lately :)
