Studio work…

  • Thought instead of me just putting up a new thread with a new photo each time, just have one thread of studio work…

These are all still lit like the jpeg shows below that I’ve posted before…except the first one which is with a beauty dish…

Lovely stuff, great soft light, and where do you keep coming up with all these cracking models?!

    1st photo looks great.
2nd looks a bit bright on the face – lighting flattens the face a little bit too much!
3rd facial expression doesn’t do it for me but technically good. Expression seems to have brought out frown lines. Tiny bit too much light to the right hand side of the face but lighting to back and shoulders seems more like it.
4th looks nice but again lighting seems a tad strong. Are you using a silver reflector? Lighting just seems a tiny bit unnatural? There’s just a certain type of glow off it (but could be my monitor – same thing is wha I think is what I’m getting at in pics 2 & 3).

All very minor points, mind :)

The issue with that is that critiquing them becomes a pain :? Too many shots to comment on in any level of detail, so I’ll just say nice work :)

Haven’t posted up anything in a while, so thought i’d post up two ones just finished… :)

Yup I know what you mean by repetitive, just trying to make sure I get this right before moving on to trying something else. “jack of all trades…etc etc”

    Here’s one from yesterday…
