OK. Here’s a bit of craic for yeese. I’m convinced this photo has potential, if only because it’s nice and sharp and reasonably well exposed. I’ve no idea what to do with it but I don’t want to bin it, so how about downloading the 4MB file and posting up your suggested edits?

Hey Pete, perhaps you could use a nice overlay layer of some fire/smoke to bring it to life. Nice texture there but it needs something to give it reason, i think.
It’s still just a stump. Pity the top of the little tree/branch/twig was cut off.

I know. I didn’t even see the twig till I got home. I was too busy nursing my hypothermia.

You’re right, and thanks for the edit. I think I’ll just file this under “stump” and hope I remember it’s there when I next want a stump photo!
