I like simple shots and I like this. I can’t see much to say about it, it seems to be a shot you just like or don’t.
The darkening of the lamppost tones toward the centre balances the vinaigrette well.Nicely done,

Nice one, very simple and catches me
Not into the textures though, i mean they do look good, but they cant be recreated in the darkroom unless you make your own, but maybe your going to print digitally….last i’ll say on that subject:-)

Martin – It seems like everyone has something like this in their Holga gallery, I’d been admiring from afar and wanted to give it a try.

Well I might, I did make a mask a while ago for a border, I’ve also heard of people printing through grease proof paper and the like to make a texture, I might try that too.
Or I could use a digital print and make a paper negative print from it.Can’t is a strong word Martin… :wink:

Love this shot. It is quite like the simple shots that work well hanging, say, in a bathroom. Atmospheric, evocative and has something in it to study.
Nice one Sinead, I’d like to have this in my collection too. On printing options you can also print through the back of the photographic paper this give a nice soft image, you could also print through the negative sleeve.

I thought about it quite a lot, until I gave myself a pain in the head.I have a few other ideas as well, but they are top secret, for the moment anyway.
I’ve have to wait until sept to get back into the darkroom. I don’t want to tell my ideas yet,
