Wow!! I really really like this shot Markus. One of my favourite on the site at the moment actually. Just oozes coolness…and if it was tinted blue…could have come straight off an old Blue Note album. Lovely DOF and very sharp where it needs to be imo.

Those are great Markus – my favorite is the second from the bottom in the left column. It uses the same mid-focus that the one you posted above, but it suits the square framing much better IMO. One little niggle with it is that it’s a shame the trumpet isn’t as centered in the frame as her head is.
