Sun down fire up

Something about this scene in Bandon caught my eye yesterday eve. Not sure if it works as a photo – or at least what I did with it!

Well i think it was the magic sunset. On the 15th and 16th,the sunsets were incredible, ecspecially on the 15th. I never saw such an amazing sunset. The sky makes the image very interesting. Maybe you can highlight some more details in the church, it is too dark.

Hi Tom, the foreground in shadow takes from the overall composition, but I like the colours, and the feeling of peace,
really accentuated by the drifting smoke.

Thanks Madeleine and Ken for the comments. Much appreciated.
I have edited it a bit to eliminate the base (as Ken suggested) but I’m not sure I can get much more detail out of the building, Madeleine, as it was shot in JPEG in a hurry!
