Very nice Roberto. Very strange but very nice. Love all those ‘electric’ colours and tones.

Sorry Roberto, I don’t really like it. It just looks like playing with photoshop to create an effect on an otherwise mundane image perhaps? The horizon line is across the middle which rarely works. The Colours are probably the strongest part of the image.

Doesnt do anything for me I’m afraid. It doesn’t look like a photograph in my opinion.

How did you achieve the look ? I’d be interesting in hearing more about it.

I admire your though experimentation :)
    thanks

    Thanks Mark for the comment.
It is made from photograph. I done this type of pictures long time ago in darkroom with chemical toning.
Now, I changed the chemicals to software.
It is very easy. You just select one part of the photo and change the colours (brightness, contrast, saturation and hue if needed). Everything is upto your imagination.
This type of pictures are not about the subjects but feelings. I know that it does not work for lot of photographers but I have good response from artists and some public.

Sorry Roberto, but I think it is awful. Please stick to your normal photos and don’t turn into one of those artists whom you mention. They tend to talk a lot about some awful piece of work which they have produced, in order to make it seem more than it is.

Looks like an album cover from 1969.

I’m afraid it doesn’t do it for me either.

    Sorry Roberto

I have to agree, its not my kind of image ..

But I would like to add a 10 out of 10 to you for your creativity with Photoshop ;).. you are always willing to experiment and although on this occassion its not quite working (IMO), you have acheived some very interesting abstracts. Keep it up

Thanks for the comments to all of you.
Steve – I don’t mind that you don’t like this photo or all this types of mine.
Would you say to a mother that her child is awful? The things which are created by somebody are like ‘child’ of these person. I don’t think that it’s very nice to say that something is awful in general.
Personally I don’t use this word or any similar ones. If I don’t like something, just say – it is not for me or don’t comment at all.
Thanks anyway for your time to check it up.

I tend to agree with you, but I think Steve was just saying that it doesn’t reach your usual standard. Up North we can be a bit thick-skinned!

Saying someones photo is awful is not constructive at all in fairness. :)
If someone doesn’t like a photograph then either say nothing or post something constructive ;)
