Sunset at Streamstown Co. Sligo

C/C welcome I reduced the size thought is was to big on screen
Above this is the original shot with no adjustments at all in camera or in post processing, the colours do come out like this in some sunsets I believe. Looking at the two together I think I prefer the original so now after all that.

Nice shot but I find the lines and text a little distracting. Rich colours but a bit too much contrast for my taste.
Thanks for your comments miki g there was no contrast or saturation adjustment made to this shot at all only sharpen and a levels adjustment, sorry

I have to agree with miki g with regard to the lines on the image.
My first thought was that I was looking at the front page of maybe a calander.The levels tool would adjust colour and contrast as far as I am aware?
I like the colours and its an interesting sky.

This is very nice Joe, I really like the colours and wouldn’t change a thing. As for the presentation I would agree with the lads above, maybe a cream or white border might improve the overall image.

I do like the unadorned image much better.
I do also agree that colours like this are available straight from the camera.
I shoot many photographs at either end of the day and the colours (especially
in the evening) can be astounding without any enhancement.Don’t be surprised or put out if someone suggests that the beautiful colour you
achieved in your camera was achieved in post processing.Well done.
