Sunset in Connemara

Nice colours in both shots, not sure if it is the mountains in the distance,
but the horizon does seem to slope a bit?Thanks for the comments I agree the horizon is sloping a bit this one is a bit better I think

Sometimes it’s hard to get this kind of pic level, with islands, headlands etc in the way.Hi Trev, The second one even if you straightened the horizon would still look a bit odd to me. The white surf and the pink cloud being parallel is very distracting. Third one is better, but the first one appeals a lot to me. Its a bit more relaxed. All the colours are complimentary. I like the green of the water and the sand in the foreground is perfect.
Thanks for all the comments, I spent hours on the beach that night and have almost 150 shots of the sunset. Every time I flick through them I find a new favourite. It’s great to get other peoples comments.

the 2nd last one you posted is the best of the bunch. Horizon is much straighter also. Is that barrel distortion thats visible on the horizon. it seems to curve down every so slightly at the extreme left and right. could be just a trick caused by various lines in the photo.
