Sunset over the Lough

This was taken just outside Newtownards a couple of weeks ago on a rare sunny evening… Comments and critique very welcome!!

The Mournes at Sunset by farmerarmour23, on FlickrYou have a beautiful quite sunset shot here with a nice range of tones. The boat and its crew grab my attention first and its hard to move away from that area. For that reason I would suggest that you crop out the entire foreground leaving the horizon line one third up from the bottom of your picture. I feel that you don’t need the shore detail at all.
Lovely scene, I actually like the stones in the foreground I think it grounds the
whole scene and gives it a bit of substance. Nice one!Great shot, i would also suggest a square crop,living out the foreground stones. it would give you a nice abstract shot with nice warm tones.
