Hi Jenny,

I love this type of photograph.
Perhaps it’s my farming background. :D

The tractor is probably 50 or more years old.
Although the paintwork is well weathered it dosen’t look in bad condition.
I wondered was it just parked in the weeds rather than abandoned.

Thanks John, it was in good condition, no flat wheels but the weeds were growing up through
it, so I would say it had been there for some time. I had to do a bit of trimming back to reveal
the front of the tractor :lol:

nice picture , i like theses type of shots in HDR, as the old cars and machinery look great with the rust,

i tried to do it in hdr , . hope you dont mind , here it is ,

No I don’t mind at all! :D I did a tone mapped version myself (great minds eh?)
Thanks for bringing back lovely memories too, I took this last year while in New Zealand
For my sons wedding.

I find tone mapping better, as you are only using one image and the effect is much the
same, I must say I do like the effect on old rusty stuff it really brings out the character
in them. Not to everyones taste I know, but a little of what you fancy does you good!! :lol:
