Superia & artifical light – how to combat yellow/red glo

Guys, I’m planning to make my own light-box over the weekend. Basically a cardboard box, cut out the sides, cover the holes with white paper, lamps outside the box pointed at the white paper over the holes. Insert white paper/card inside the back as a background.

Is there any bulbs I can get to combat that yellow/red from artifical light.

You can get daylight bulbs- blue ones-
or, you used to be able to-
    they’re probably all fluorescent now-

Flash is maybe the safest option for colour reproduction-
    as its balanced for daylight-
if you’re making a box from cardboard, (foamboard?)
it should be little trouble to make a mixing box-
and you could rig up something small, maybe a torch, so that you could focus-

just a thought, if you can get a flash off camera-

I used to have a blue light… has the government brought in the ban on the old lightbulbs yet?
