John, I had a look at your website before I came back to comment on this as there had been 54 views without any so far. This is just not up to your normal standard composition wise, the foreground tufts of grass obscuring the subject. Grass aside it looks like the subject is in focus and seperated from the background with nice DOF but then you would have been let down by it’s partner. My opinion for what it’s worth……Mikka
Thanks Mikka, I see what you mean, I liked the relaxed mood of the picture myself, They were completely unaware of my presence and i liked the way that the female was fast asleep with the male so close by keeping an eye open. I would have preferred much less grass of course :)
