I really take my hat off to you Noely, I never realised that these were so small,
I am not sure if this is full grown measured about 1cm including his legs, he was
eating a mosquito I think. Not a patch on Noely’s macros though.
At 1cm its full grown ok, nice shot and yes they are difficult little blitters to photograph.
I have some from a year back done using the 50mm lens reveresed must have a look for them.Think I was lucky he was feeding, when he had finished he was
all over the shop not a chance of focusing on him, thanks for looking!
I was using a 70mm macro with 2 x convertor, I got some extension
tubes but I cant focus at all with them maybe I am trying to get too
close!Wow. Well done on getting this especially with the insect.
Not easy to expose this with all the white.Shutterbug when using the tubes forget auto focus and use manual exposure and just rock the cam back and forward to you get focus and click.
Thats how i do all my extreme closeup macros.

justs hunts forever and the moment is gone, I guess it just needs more
practise, and you know it is just typical all the bugs just VANISH when the
macro lens comes out, I think that is why I have so many pictures of flies :)Jenny

JennyJenny a great capture first time I have seen this type from above in my house there is always screaming I think they can here spiders walking I daren’t get the camera out.

Thanks Soda, just say they are attracted to camera lenses as they can see themselves,
and its easier to catch them hehe! :)
