This is a friend of mine. He’s and Afghanistan Veteran (infantry) from South Boston and tough as nails so I thaught I’d go for the mickey Rooney look. The studio lighting and photoshop finishing I used emulated Jill Greenberg.
[/img]i like the DOF,but i was wondering about the strange fringeing that is present around his hat.This is definitely better viewed large.

I like the processing … it suits the subject and adds a lot of interest …I think the RHS of his face is very blown though
