Mike nice sharp pictures not as good as your first post (IMHO), the second one would have been great only one thing missing, the ball.

Mike I didn’t win the spot the ball competition as I would have put it up a bit level with the eye. I really think that it does make it a far better shot (IMHO) what do you think.
Nice PS work by the way.

What do we think of photoshop sports images, like I did here….

I know the ball is not 100% round in the photo, but is this RIGHT or WRONG?

I think in sports, its not right………….

    YOUR VIEWS?

Somehow I missed these images. I’m on hols at the moment and don’t get to be as “live” as normal.

I love the first one purely for the composition and the thinking. It’s different. I saw a fellow Wexfordman win a competition years upon years ago of a GAA orientated nature with an equally different photograph. His photo was not an action shot but of the mentor in a huddle at half time “filling the bellies full of fire” with his fist clenched as much as his teeth and giving it socks and from a low angle. It’s a pity one of the girls didn’t look back at you for added interest…paybe a photoshop challenge??

To be honest it’s not something I’ve ever tried. People shots or model shoots it’s a totally different skill that I just haven’t ventured into. Cycle racing is all that I’ve tried in the sports world and I hope to do a few rallys over the coming months. It might make an interesting change…hmmm!

There was a hill climb on late July but I wasn’t around. As far as I know the next one is the Crosbie Cedars Hotel Rally in September but I can be corrected on this.
