The 18th at The Manor

When I went into work on wednesday morning I just drove around the ground taking shots of them covered in snow for the first hour or so. This is taken from the roof of one of the turrets of the Manor building. It is the 18th fairway that runs along the Maigue river. The course covered in snow, the Ceder of Lebanon tree to the right, the lake of the par 3 16th to the left….

This is the veteran’s memorial on the grounds in front of the Manor building. I especially like the layer of snow across the top of the fallen marine.

Part of the 18th green. The Ceder of Lebanon Tree and the Manor House.

    Nice series.
Last two are really nice. do like the snow on the statue too. Composition on the 3rd one is nice.
Lovely blue skies contrast well with the fresh snow

Very nice Jody, I like the first one but I think the sun is a bit strong. The composition of number 3 is great.

#1 is very dramatic. It is a pity that the sky is so blown from the strong sun.
For some reason (lens distortion, barrelling?) the house in #2 seems to be leaning to the left. The snow on the memorial is very well captured.
I like the perspective in #3. Might be worth trying to clone out the pole/light or whatever it is near the tree, though.

Together, they tell a good story.
