The Base Player

This guy was the base player in a jazz band at the square in Old Havana… he was a great character, took lots of shots of him – all he did was laugh and smile :)
(although I did manage to get one of him looking serious)

These look great to me Jay, I suspect you’ve done some PP on them and they really look good.

Great shots, love them. Love the processing on them like I’ve mentioned to you before. Can’t really fault them. Second is probably my fav, brilliant moment captured.

Really like these Jay. The first one is the one for me. He reminds me a little of Morgan Freeman.
I love the processing..gives them an old world style that really suits the subject.
Makes me want to go to Cuba even more now :wink:

The processing is something I’ve been working on a lot lately – this “technique” is something I ended up with when messing around – all done in Lightroom… luckily I can save the preset or I’d have no idea how I did it lol!
Yeah Robbie you sould definitely head to Cuba if you can… it’s starting to change now so the sooner the better!
