Maybe the exposure was a bit too long. I don’t see no sign of any wave.

yes …lol thats the point of the image , no waves to distract from the foreground . probably doesnt work too well tho will try a different approach …..

Back to your image: the colours are very beautiful, soft, and the gentle foggy water exposure! the tree and the stone doesn’t work together ( in my eyes) , they don’t tell a story but you made them veeeery important. maybe focusing on one of both is a solution. Should you choose the tree, it needs stunning details or a special form to excite our eyes. not sure if my english is translating what i wanted to say ( ;

thanks for the positve comments , its not the conventional image i know . nice to know it has some merit
