Little Christmas Robin image for you all and hope you enjoy.
F5.6
1/100th
420mm
ISO 1250I think ISO 1250 is about as far as id push the D300 without using noise reduction to keep fine details in the feathers when using natural light.
Editing was resize for web and border added.

Mite get u to get me a wee print of this… My wife’s dad passed away a few years ago and we tell our 2 kids when ever they see a robin, thats granda coming buy to say hello and to make sure they are safe. I showed this shot to my wife and she loves it so I think it would be nice for the kids too :)

Classic plus photo of a robin. Love the way its looking at the camera. iso1250, thats quite amazing really. Didn’t realise
how good the D300 was in terms of noise.sndipoMemberHehe, good to compare with the Christmas Starling one alright. I think I’d prefer the other one but this one suits better as a xmas card I think! :)
