Hi Jonathan,

I know only too well how difficult this type of photography is.
I think you have done very well with these.

#1 is probably the weakest image and definitely suffers by being in such good company.
Maybe it’s the viewpoint and the inclusion of the 2 bright lamps.
I have scrolled to exclude the 2 lights and I think it might be a better crop.
it’s not a bad image at all really.

#2 is a lovely image.
I would crop it to just above the mans hat.

#3 is another very good photograp and my second favourire.
Again I would crop to just above the hat.

#4 is a good study of the bass player and I like the positioning with the bass
diagonally placed in the frame.
Again I would crop down closer to his head and might consider cloning out
the protruding item just below the headstock.

#5 is my favourite image here.
The face is lovely and sharp with an expression that emphasizes the intensity
of the performance.
The guitar is nicely placed diagonally in the frame.
And lastly, I think the composition/crop is spot on with no wasted space and all the
emphasis on the subject.

I’d be very happy to have produced these.
