Great images.
You should be hired to shoot covers for Tolkien’s books. Pencil in Bilbo and Frodo
It’s #1 for me. Caption = Enchanted Forest
tommykelsoMemberBrian_CParticipantNumbers 1 and 2 are brilliant. Stunning. Lots of character and atmosphere.
I wonder how thry would look in B&W.RASMITH32MemberHave seen this image quite a few times on this site but I do like your low aspect especially in the 1st. not an easy shot to expose for!. How did you expose for this without blowing out the highlights or losing the detail in the trees???
shutterbugParticipantWonderful, I have this place on my list of “to do” for this year! Before they chop
them down :shock:climberhuntParticipantVery nice. Great atmosphere. #3 is the one for me.
On #2, I’d have raised the camera a bit to get more of the distant road, much like #1. Or drop a bit to make it disappear out of shot.Rgds,
Dave.Joey CParticipantPitmaticMemberthis location is also on my todo list before its gone etc
1 is my fave i like the low angle and the atmospherics are nicely captured

I use only the settings manually,
metering on the brightest spot, manual sharpening, white balance manual, etc.
In PS, it’s just levels. The main thing is to wait for the light :)
