The scratching is more likely to come from the roller processing-
all too common,
and not many (if any) doing dip and dunk any more-You might try rubbing nose oil into the film-
same refractive index, fills up the scratches…It tends to show up more on underexposed shots like the first one-
I like the second, that’s a quality lens you’ve got there-
nice and straight and level too-
So that’s you in the mirror?davedunneParticipantaoluain wrote:

You can send it to me and I will fix it for €120 + parts. If it turns out I can’t fix it I will send you a new Holga*. What a deal – you can’t go wrong.
If you decide to keep the Holga, and it’s not the processing that is causing the problem, maybe the mask (or inside of the camera if you don’t use a mask) is not smooth. A little electrical tape may smooth it out.
* 120 N. Results not typical.
MartinOCParticipant#2 for me too. The light, the lines and the cool positioning of the 3 of you. Nicely done.
I hope your holga recovers…

That will have to make an nfl top 10 JB. I won’t ask how you discovered that fix :)
Anyhow, its number 2 for me also.

WARNING PLease click off this thread if you have a soft stomach
Does the nose have to be runny?
and
are you for real?
jb7ParticipantThe outside of your nose…
It’s an old trick, I’ve known of it for over thirty years myself,
but I was reminded of it just the other day when somebody mentioned that the oil has the same refractive index as the film…It’s the same reasoning behind fluid mounting (in oil) a neg for scanning-
Anyway, suck it and see…
no Alan, not literally suck it…
I thought Wonka was in charge of the lists now?
I guess it might have made the last one-
with a bullet-
