The Dublin we don’t see very often

    Hi,

Took this photo sometime ago when I knew very little about how to use PS. As I was shooting against the light, everything was hidden in the dark shadow. I’ve always loved the tone of this photo and always felt it is a pity that I couldn’t bring the best side of the photo out. Today, I went back to the archives and dug this one out and did some work on it. Think it looks fine now. all comments welcome.

It’s a pretty good picture you got. The buildings are enough detailed and the texture of the sky is very nice. Now on the critic side one can find it a bit centered but it doesn’t bother me because of the lovely curve the clouds draw.

    HI Loustolo,

Thanks a mil for the comment. I have to admit that it wasn’t very easy to bring the details back from the shadows (if you see the original, you’ll understand what I mean). So, I am quite happy with the currently version.

wow, they tested A-bomb in Ireland :)
seriously – amazing details on buildings considering strong back light. criticism – if you have this sun circle on picture maybe you could bring it whole into picture, i.e. move a bit right so sun will be between two buildings. it seems hidden behind siptu.
