The Fall

A minor Waterfall filled with the remains of summer in Johnstown Castle, Wexford, Ireland. Aptly named, for our American friends, The Fall.

I love the colours, and the sharpness. But I just keep scrolling to
lose that extra bright section at the top. Sometimes, dissonance works,
other times, symmetry. Dark, light, dark, light, from top to bottom,
altogether more pleasing… Just my humble half a shekels worth…Rob.
I really like this shot~~
And I love the double entendre title!
The colors are so vivid and the photo so sharp that I want to reach in a scoop up the wet leaves..
I think if you lose the top half or so of the top step…you might like it better..it is a bit bare at the top in relation to the deep colors below..

I agree with you both…the top step. I’ll most likely be back there tomorrow and I’ll bet the top step won’t exist!!

Aww. You Americans are sweet. If you think this is a double entendre you obviously
haven’t seen Carry on up the Khyber. (But please don’t think I’m recommending it).As for the photo, Alan, I can only echo what’s been said already. Chop the top off (like in a
Bar Mitzvah fnarr fnarr).I await the improved version with interest, specially if it doesn’t rain tomorrow.
