It was a beautiful morning in Wexford today.

mgstParticipantSeaviewParticipantVery nice John, the morning mist really makes the shot, lovely light also. The one distraction for me is the second boat, you should really have move it while you took the shot.
Dave.
miki gParticipantHi John. Lovely lighting and atmosphere in this. The warm colours of the lighting suit the colouring of the boat. Well done
Alan RossiterParticipantI looked out the window this morning at 6.30am and saw a clear sky with no cloud and no fog and no mist…a featureless morning so I stayed put. I later went to Rosslare Strand…and should have put.
Then you post this and this really goes against my grain. It’s a very atmospheric shot – one that I did not think was possible. Looks like I’ll be setting the alarm tomorrow morning and thinking ahead.
Nice shot John – I think I could do with a bit of enthusiasm to get up in the morning to follow shots like that.
Alan.
lousyParticipantHi John I’ve just posted on this shot on our club site. Like Alan I was set for a 5am rise and a long drive for dawn, but chickened out.
Now I see this image and start to kick myself.
Great shot John, well done.
PatMr.HParticipantBeautiful image John. Wonderful light on the boat and the mist helps with the feel.
I made it out myself also this morning… but am a bit slower in getting things processed… maybe next week sometime.

Your very kind comments are greatly apprecisted.

John.
brownieParticipant5faytheParticipantsprocheMemberLovely morning and photo. As an ex Wefordman myself, it takes me right back ……… I particularly like the play between the mist and the boat.
Sean
5faytheParticipantHi Sean,
Many thanks for your kind comments.
Much appreciated.Glad the memories were stirred.
Cheers.
John.
MikkaParticipantjb7ParticipantWell it must be good, nobody’s mentioned the rotation, so I won’t…
The mist rising is great, atmosphere, by definition-
The colour is the next thing you notice,
warm, but perhaps not as warm as it might have been…
I think if you were to print it, it might be good to rein that back in a little
there are blues in there trying to get out-Nice tranquil scene, well caught, definitely worth getting up for-
well done-
