Great shot, I know the place well, some great shots to be had around there in various weather and lightening conditions.

Thanks Mikka for your kind comments.

Joseph thanks for your comments and for not mentioning………
I took my horizon from the distant shoreline.
Not sure if that was right but won’t be able to do anything about that for a few days.
I’ll have a look at the colour then too.

    I appreciate your comments Richie.

    Cheers all.

It does make it worthwhile getting up to capture lovely scenes like this. also , wondering if you could up the greens to bring out the colour in the trees and boatt

    Hi Dee,

    Thanks for your kind comments.

It can indeed be rewarding to rise early.
I think, as amateurs, there must be a certain enjoyment in the act of being
    in beautiful places as well.
If I were to just be there on the mission of taking successful photographs
I would be very disappointed on a lot of occasions.
That said, the more I do it the more I learn and the more I learn hopefully my
    averages will increase.

I have had a few processing suggestions and will definitely revisit this image with
regard to the processing but will not be able to until next week.
The ditch/hedge in the original file is quite dark and has been adjusted to
    lighten that area a bit.
This was done on the Jpeg and I also have the RAW so optiona are available.

These suggestions are appreciated and shows once again the value of this site.

    Thanks.

    John.
