The Harbour

The 4th image form my evening out last week… Iam making up for the past couple of months of little or no posts lol
This might look a bit dark depends on your screen, i have a lighter version for printing just tweaked it for the net.

Lovely, makes Ballintoy seem like Toytown, kinda.
Is there a bit of distortion to left.
Nope no distortion, the old tower is built at that angle and the small boat is sitting on a slipway.

Nice shot, I love the sky on this.
Really stunning image of one of my fave places. Got to try this angle next time – if it’s free of parked vehicles!
Nice image Ricky, and a classic view of the harbour. It might be worthwhile cloning out the 2 outermost lamps, as I think they distract from the image. The 2 central ones have to stay of course!
I have not been back to Ballintoy by myself since that old couple vanished down there! A scary place at night.
Yes i see what you mean, i think i will take your advise on that ;) its going to print this week and should be in store by saturday all being well.
And yes its very creepy at night.. I was down last year and it was pitch black by the time I got back to the harbour with my torch in hand,
I have done this at the causeway too but there is something odd about the harbour, you just keep getting the feeling your not alone ?RGH_Photography wrote:

Exactly! I walked from the elephant rock to the harbour one night by myself in the dark and I did not enjoy it one bit! I felt like someone was watching me from the top of the slopes up to the right hand side!

The reflection on the water are perfect. It looks a little HDR like, but not overly so.
