The Lady of the Lake

This is just off Our Ladys Island in South Wexford. It is an annual place of worship and pilgrimage from 15th August to 6th September each year and derived it’s Christianic status from as far back as 1100AD. The regular pilgrimages started in the late 1800’s after the Island was dedicated to Our Lady.
The image you see looks uncannily like a hand – “Which choice do you want to make – up or down?”
