Thanks, Aidan. I kinda wish, on retrospect, that he didn’t have the food – just doesn’t quite look natural with a perfectly cut turnip in his hand.

Next time I’m in Fota, I’ll grab a Colubus Monkey we can give to them :-)
I don’t think they’re really fed much of what they’d find in the forests. Honestly, outside of the meat that some “tribes” would eat, they probably eat better than in the wild.
I wouldn’t worry too much about the turnip. There’s only so much we can do when shooting in a zoo. You got him on film. That’s the important thing.
