First thoughts are “is it a photo or a sketch”. Nicely done.

I just love this. It’s the kind of photo I’d love to have taken. IR is something I have never attempted and a lot of the time the subject doesn’t suit the treatment. It works perfectly here.

    Fair Play!

Thats so unusual. Definitely makes me want to get some IR film.
Well done. Post some more IR if you have any :)

Thanks for the compliments, I will post some more work

With IR I tend to shoot with a wratten 25 instead of an opaque. Although I recently purchased a P007 Opaque filter from Cokin. I have been experimenting with digital IR. At least now I can see the image before I expose it.

I have a spare roll of Ilford SFX 200 – 120 IR film. If anyone wants to experiment. Just send me a pm with your address and I will post it. This film is 3 years out of date but has been in the fridge. Process it in ID -11, bracket your exposures and when in the enlarger underexpose to create the sketch effect. Remember to load this film in a changing bag and have fun.

    Thanks

    Paul
