I took this shot this morning before work (I love overtimes)… Wicklow is just endless and beautiful! What do you think? I did some enhancement on the rays, but I’d be looking for some good techniques to emphasize them…
sean1098MemberLovely pic,the rays light up the path, and your eyes follow it to the foreground.
LOVELY.
Sean.
PixelleMemberThe light is wonderful, leading the eye away into the distance, it’s just the overhead trees seem unnecessary somehow.
andy mcinroyParticipantWhen I saw the top loading I though “Hmmmmm” but then the bottom just brings it all together beautifully.
Subtle, well though out and really beautiful Randomway.

PeteTheBlokeMemberGood one. The circular effect at the top and the linearity at
the bottom make a great contrast.randomwayMemberThanks guys! You know, the credit goes to God for spending a lot of time in Corel Draw and Photoshop to paint such a scenery. When I saw this I said, WOW and pressing the shutter release was so easy. Wish we had more of these surpisingly nice mornings!
jb7ParticipantLooking good randomway-
I’ve heard that God was in the details,
but the fact that he works for both Corel and Adobe makes him truly omnipresent-j

However I’d also be interested to see any ‘close-ups’ of the path and the rays – Have you got any?
Where was this? Crone wood?
Gary
DeeboParticipantLovely shot and a great moment captured. Agree with Mr H too, some more please if you have them
randomwayMemberI think, this is my first pic that you guys like this much (probably because it looks good even in the small web size), and I’m happy that you like it.
Mr. H: It was taken at the Edmondstown Road.. Pine Forest it’s called, it’s just off the M50 to the south at the Firhouse exit… straight up towards Sally Gap.I usually don’t overuse a situation, so this was the only one that I’ve chosen from the 6 pics and I don’t feel like posting others as they would only kill the myth. There was no close-ups unfortunately..
Thanks for the comments!
