thats really beautiful… the light is on in the lower window, does someone really live in there?
reminds me of the old mill building in killable.i really like the color/ b+w combo in this image, it can sometimes be tacky but it really works here!

Would love to read some intro to the image though, where it is? time of day?I like the moody feel to this photo given by the mist. I think my preference would be for a pure black and white, but that is just my opinion.
I took this on my way back from limerick one evening , just after a heavy rain shower ,around O’briensbridge area , it was a grey-dull winters day so I tought the bw/color conversion would give it a bit of lift ,
Thanks for the comments …Really nice shot Clive. Loads of atmosphere. Perhaps there’s a hint of a processing halo over the dark trees? But other than that it’s a real winner. The light at the window just makes it for me.
Great landscape, love the composition and the mist over the river just makes this image. As a rule I’m not a huge fan of selective coloring but I think it actually works here. Would like to see both full color and full B&W images though to make a judgement as to which works best.
Either way it is definitely a keeper!
