Happy winter solstice! This is Anthony Murphy, author of ‘The Island of the Setting Sun’ appropriately enough, ‘holding’ the setting sun on the top of the great passage tomb at Dowth, winter solstice 2006.
Thats almost a hard news story you’ve got there Cian-
A tricky enough shot to set up,
so I wont mention the composition too much-but you’re on the D200
so you can afford to crop a little-Happy non-denominational winter celebration festival to you too-
And as you say, you couldn’t have asked for a better subject-
