I took the on monday night down on the Clare coast at a spot called Freagh Castle this outcrop is only ever this prominant at the really lowest bottom of the tide the tide tables had this reading at 1.5 metres. this is about ten minutes after sunset . As always guys comments and critiques welcome….
really like the misty effect of the water, not sure I’d have the outcrop directly in the centre of the image but that being said the rocks either side and the water around it make it work I think, nice shot!!
Really nice shot John, love the slow shutter speed and you do it so well.
I do notice it needs a pinch in the middle of the horizon, there’s a slight bow upwards in the middle.
Thanks guys. Mark its a 25 sec exposure as regards processing its a two shot blend one exposed for the sky and the other the foreground in post I added a tint of pink in the sky as it was a tad flat and I did some selective contrast in the foreground to make it pop then just sharpenning and bobs you uncle finished.
